Why MCP

Your AI can plan a great program. It just can't reach your clients.

MCP removes the plumbing. Your assistant gets 125+ real tools inside your coaching account — and does the work where the work lives.

The copy-paste loop

  • The plan — from the AI chat into the app, by hand
  • The client's numbers — from the app back into the chat
  • The follow-up message — back again
  • The AI does the thinking, you do the plumbing

Connected over MCP, your AI builds, checks and sends — inside your account, not beside it.

One message, real work

What delegation looks like when the tools are real

You describe the outcome in your own AI chat. The assistant calls the connector's tools — the same operations your cabinet runs — and reports back with the result, not a to-do list for you.

Build a 4-week lower-body program from my library and assign it to Anna — she starts Monday.
✓ create_program ✓ create_program_workout × 16 ✓ add_exercises_to_program_workout × 12 ✓ assign_program
Done. “Lower Body · 4 Weeks” — 12 workouts plus rest days, built from your library and assigned to Anna starting Monday. Want me to send her a heads-up in chat?

The conversation is a mock-up — the tool names aren't. Every one of them ships in the connector today.

125+ tools, six jobs

Everything your cabinet does, your AI can do too

The connector covers the whole coaching surface. Ask in plain language — these are the kinds of requests it turns into work:

Programs & workouts

Create program templates day by day, fill them with exercises from your library, and assign them to clients with a start date. Or plan a single workout for tomorrow.

“Build a 4-week lower-body program from my library and assign it to Anna starting Monday.”

Funnels, leads & stats

Read funnel stats, list fresh leads with their quiz answers and traffic sources, and manage funnel pages — draft to published.

“Which funnel brought the most leads this week? Show me the newest five with their answers.”

Clients, tags & access

Onboard clients, tag cohorts, grant or extend paid access with payments recorded, and read compliance stats per client.

“Find clients whose paid access ends this week and extend Maria's by a month.”

Chat & broadcasts

Send a message straight into a client's in-app chat, or fan one message out to a whole tagged segment as personal 1:1 messages — now or scheduled.

“Draft a check-in broadcast for everyone tagged “summer intake” and schedule it for Monday 9:00.”

Exercise library

Create and organize exercises with folders, and batch-copy library exercises into workouts and program days — snapshots stay independent of the library.

“Create a “Mobility” folder and move my stretching drills into it.”

Progress & check-ins

Read workout results, body measurements, and form answers your clients record in the app — and turn them into a coaching decision.

“Summarize Anna's results and measurements for the last month. What should change in her next block?”

Setup

Connected in three steps

No API keys to generate, no scopes to puzzle over. The connector URL lives in your cabinet under Settings → Connect an AI assistant.

1

Copy your connector URL

One click in Settings → Connect an AI assistant. The URL is the same for every AI app.

2

Add it to your AI

In your assistant's connectors or MCP settings, add a custom connector and paste the URL.

3

Sign in and approve

Your AI opens an OAuth sign-in with your coach account. Approve it once — you're connected.

Scoped by design

Real tools — not the keys to the safe

You approve access, and you can cut it

The connector signs in through OAuth with your coach account — your AI never sees a password. Remove the connector in your AI app and access ends.

Client-recorded data is read-only

Workout results, measurements and form answers are owned by the client. Your AI can read and summarize them, never edit them.

The destructive stuff stays in the app

Deleting clients, uploading files, changing your email or password — none of it is exposed over MCP. The AI gets working tools, not the keys to the safe.

Questions coaches ask

What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants securely use external tools. Instead of copy-pasting between tabs, your AI connects to your OnlineFitness.app account and works with your real clients, programs, funnels and messages — with your permission, through your account.

Which AI apps can I connect?

Claude, Cursor, Codex, and any other MCP-compatible assistant that supports custom connectors. You paste one URL, sign in with your coach account, and approve access — that's the whole setup.

What can the AI change — and what can't it?

It can do real coaching work: build and assign programs, manage the exercise library, tag clients, grant access, send chat messages and broadcasts, manage funnels and lead magnets. It cannot edit client-recorded results or measurements, delete clients, upload files, or change your email and password — those stay in the app.

Will my clients know an AI was involved?

Messages and broadcasts are sent from your account, exactly like ones you type yourself — so what your clients see is you. Whatever the AI drafts is yours to approve before it goes out; nothing is sent without your instruction.

Is this the same as the built-in AI assistant?

No — they complement each other. The built-in assistant lives in your cabinet chat and needs no setup. MCP brings your own AI — with its memory, style and context about your business — into the same account. Both are included.

What does it cost?

The MCP connector is included on every plan. The platform is free for up to 3 clients; Pro is a flat $49/month with unlimited clients.

The most capable assistant you'll ever hire already works for you.
